I have to Reblog this, b/c I posted late last night and I want to make sure everyone is aware. Johnson & Johnson has not earned the community’s trust. Rather, they have earned scorn for what they have done with mesh products. For that reason alone, please do not buy or support the use of this mesh, especially if you are in the medical field. SPEAK UP PLEASE. Speak up against medical harm.
Are they serious? “ARTISYN?” Are we supposed to think of fresh-baked bread and hand-crafted furniture? I did an impromptu experiment and asked our little community, “What is the first word that comes to mind when you hear the word ‘ARTISAN’ with no context.”

Marketing teams spend ridiculous amounts of money on focus groups and research to delve into the psyche of their “core customer base” when inventing new product names. I have been involved in many-a-heated conference room discussion with more than one Ivy League-trained CEO arguing for hours about how to launch a new food dish or line of menu items and what to name each item.
